Bring Nourishment and Kindness to Your Neighbors

Why Volunteer with MOWGC?

Supporting Meals on Wheels means helping residents in need receive essential nutrition, friendly conversation, and well-being checks. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, delivering meals with care and providing invaluable office support. With flexible scheduling, volunteers can choose their availability, making it easy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who rely on our services.

Volunteer Role

As a delivery driver, you’ll bring nutritious meals and a warm smile to individuals across Grant County. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring these residents receive both the nourishment and friendly connection they may not otherwise have. You can even choose which days, Monday through Friday, that work best for your schedule.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver prepared meals along an assigned route
  • Provide a friendly face and a quick check-in for each resident
  • Brighten someone’s day with your presence and kindness

Where We Need Volunteers

We’re actively seeking delivery volunteers in several areas to expand our reach. While we currently have volunteers in Marion and Fairmount, we also need help in Gas City, Jonesboro, Sweetser, Fowlerton, Matthews, Swayzee, Upland, and Van Buren. Drivers should be available from approximately 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the days they choose to deliver.

Additionally, we’re looking for volunteer coordinators and office support. Office helpers are needed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the days they are available.
